Back Pain Las Vegas – Henderson Spine Doctor

One question about back pain Las Vegas that I get asked all the time is “what’s a good stretch for my low-back pain?” That’s a really good question, and what I’ve found is that there are two muscles that can create a lot of low-back pain, common in Las Vegas, and that is your glut muscles, and your piriformis muscle. Your piriformis muscle is just below the glut muscles. I’m going to give you two different ways to stretch these two muscles.

The first, and most effective way, is to lay down on your back (this is done most commonly on your bed). Lay down, grab one knee, and pull it up to your chest. As you stretch this muscle, you’ll feel it stretching in the middle of your glut muscle. Hold that for about 20 seconds, and then pull that knee across your body to the other side, and that’s where you’re going to feel it more on the side, which is stretching your piriformis muscle. Hold that for 30 seconds. Do that on both sides.

That’s the best way to stretch these muscles, but you’re not always close to a bed, or a place that you can lay down and do this stretch. If you’re at work, and you’re getting that tight low-back, you can also do it in your chair. Just cross your leg onto your other leg, and then pull that knee up to your chest. And that, once again, is going to stretch your butt-muscles (the glut and the piriformis). Another way is to sit up straight, with your leg crossed over your other knee. Keep your back nice and straight, and then just lean straight forward. That’s going to stretch the same area (the glut and piriformis muscles). That’s going to loosen up that low-back pain, and help you manage your low-back pain in Las Vegas.

Who is spinal decompression right for in Las Vegas? If you’re experiencing symptoms of neck pain with radiating pain down into the arms or hands, numbness and tingling, Las Vegas spinal decompression could help. If you’re having those types of symptoms in your lower back, or you are experiencing pain into the butt area, or legs, spinal decompression might be the most effective method to treat your symptoms. These symptoms relate to a condition that has to do with the herniation or possibly bulging discs. I’ve had patients ask me, “are there any alternatives to surgery, for having this problem resolved?”. The answer to that is yes, there are.

SpineMed is a non-surgical spinal decompression, which takes the herniated or bulging disc and retracts that material, taking it off the nerve and back into the disc. If you’re interested in a resolution for your problem with disc herniations or disc bulges that are causing this type or pain, numbness, and tingling – I would recommend that you find a chiropractor in Las Vegas that has a SpineMed table, as it is the most advanced spinal decompression technology that’s out there today.

80% of people in Henderson, NV will experience back pain at some point in their lives and need to visit a Henderson chiropractor. Many people are commonly misled to believe that going to a medical doctor’s office is the only way to relieve this pain. At a medical doctor’s office you’ll receive pain medication and muscle relaxers. Those do a great job of covering up the symptoms you’re experiencing, but they don’t do anything to fix the problem in your body that is causing the pain.

When you go to a Henderson chiropractor’s office, they will perform an examination, they’ll take x-rays, and they’ll be able to uncover exactly what is going on in your body – what is causing the pain. Once they find that out, they’ll be able to perform different types of treatment to correct those problems, so that they fix the problem and the pain will go away through the correction, instead of just covering it up with the pain medication. A Henderson chiropractor will do treatments to fix the problems so the back and neck pain will go away forever.
